BLOOD PROXY CHORONZON
INVADING CHAPEL
QUIDAM
REDEMPTION
SHADOWHOUSE
THE DIRGE CAROLERS
VERNIAN PROCESS
Wonderful stuff from Spain’s Deathrock greats, Quidam. A spooky look into the noise and occult mannerisms of Choronzon – with an exclusive way of downloading their new album for free which is well worth doing – along with some fantastic artwork from the accompanying book, and a fascinating piece on Vernian Process and a genre which will surely be new to 99% of you! (Worth it for that alone)
A spirited introductory look at the intriguing Blood Proxy, a great interview with cover boys Redemption who are making Goth cool again, and interesting encounters with three very different duos, Invading Chapel, Shadowhouse and The Dirge Carollers
Along with the usual plethora of reviews, you’ll find previously unprinted, historical pics of Daisy Chainsaw and The Dancing Did, plus Gothically-inclined visual madness from a local performance of ‘Patience’. There’s also an exhaustive view of Ataraxia demos, videos, and oddities which constitute some of their rarest material.
Is that enough? Well, it’ll have to do.
I go now.
